Missions & Outreach

Local Outreach

The goal is to mentor believers into a lifestyle of sharing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ in word and deed.  We have two organized ministry opportunities for outreach.  SPLASH: Show People Love And Share Him – These are projects we do in the community to show God’s love in a practical way.  Another opportunity is through visiting the unchurched in our community, those who visit FBC, and our own members. Contact Scott to set up visit opportunities to fit your personal schedule.  See the Church Newsletter for possible upcoming SPLASH projects.

Love In Action

Love In Action means reaching out with the love of Jesus Christ to those in our community who are in need. As we meet physical needs, we then have the opportunity to meet spiritual needs, especially for salvation.
  • All who are willing and able can help.
  • Project suggestions are also welcome.

Missions Team

The purpose of our Missions Team is to ensure we are fulfilling the Great Commission abroad.  The two primary targets at this time are in West Africa: the Zerma people group in Niger and the Coast for Christ Baptist Ministry in the coastal region of Ghana.  Teams focus on evangelism, medical assistance, teaching, and providing support systems to help the West African people evangelize themselves.  There are two or three opportunities each year to participate.
